About Me
I am a Data Scientist with a passion for building practical products that solve real-world problems. I have a background in Industrial Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. I am currently working as a Machine Learning Engineer 2 at Angel One (Angel Broking) in Bengaluru, India.
I was born and brought up in Punjab.
Apart from Data Science, I love to do Digital Painting and playing Video Games.

Experience
I am currently working on improving the mobile application experience for investors and traders in Angel One Bengaluru. I am responsible for ownership of projects starting from the design phase till the deployment including database design,data procurement,feature engineering,modelling, testing and continuous performance monitoring.

I have worked on Infosight for Volume Servers for Compute Business Unit in Bengaluru, India. I build Machine learning features to help the customers maintain the health of their servers.
- Named Entity Recognition model to extract useful features from Advisories.
- Document Ranking based on server specifications using Siamese Neural Network model.
- Workload Forecasting of Servers for quarterly cycles to help Capacity Planning.

I worked for the team of Smart City where I built multiple machine learning and deep learning models for various customers in Traffic, Transport and Parking domain.
- Automatic License Plate Region Detection Application for Smart Traffic Management.
- OCR of Licence Plates for Auto-approval of red light violation tickets using Deep Learning.
- Estimated Time of Arrival of buses for Smart Transport System.
- Utilization prediction and dynamic pricing suggestions for Smart Parking (POC).
I worked on the data set of two blast furnaces in Tata Steel to analyze the behavior of Silicon percentage with respect to other parameters to improve the quality of steel.

- I was the member of Space Technology Students’ Society of IIT Kharagpur. I designed events’ arenas, posters, newsletters, etc.
- I was also the Design Head of National Students’ Space Challenge (NSSC) in IIT Kharagpur.
